Registration Application

Sukkot Feast Participation Agreement & Waiver of Liability

As a condition of attending and participating in this Sukkot celebration, each registrant affirms that they have read, understood, and agree to the following rules, responsibilities, and release of liability.

I. Feast Rules and Camp Guidelines

  1. Adhere to all national park rules and regulations while on park property.

  2. Honor all Sabbath and High Day observances while within the camp, as described in our FAQ page.

  3. Adhere to Clean Food Laws while within the camp, as described in Torah (Leviticus 11, etc.).

  4. Follow kitchen and food storage rules:

    • Kitchen equipment may not be used by anyone under 15 unless supervised by an adult.

    • Respect all shared storage areas and other participants’ food and space.

    • Each family/individual is responsible for their own meals, except during scheduled communal meals.

    • Clean up after yourself following any food preparation or consumption.

  5. Adhere to quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM each night. Late-night gatherings may occur; please be respectful of those sleeping.

II. Interpersonal Conduct and Safety

  1. Unmarried couples must reserve separate cabins to preserve camp sanctity.

  2. All attendees should dress modestly, including swimwear, as outlined in our FAQ.

  3. While adults and teens may help watch over younger children, each parent/family is ultimately responsible for their own children's supervision, safety, and behavior.

  4. Children under 17 must be supervised when swimming in any body of water.

  5. Parents must establish and enforce their own curfews for their children.

III. Teachings, Discussions, and Unity

  1. Both men and women may lead Bible studies or messages during the Feast.

  2. Youth-led services may also occur.

  3. Doctrinal disagreements are welcome if respectful, and not aimed at division. If disagreements escalate, we ask attendees to respectfully agree to disagree.

  4. We strive to live by the Golden Rule — treating others as we ourselves wish to be treated.

IV. Code of Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy

To ensure the safety and dignity of all participants, the following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  1. Sexual harassment, assault, or misconduct of any kind.

  2. Unwanted physical contact, threatening behavior, or intimidation.

  3. Discrimination or hate speech based on race, gender, belief, or background.

Anyone engaging in such conduct will be removed from the event immediately, and, if necessary, reported to law enforcement. If you witness or experience unsafe, abusive, or inappropriate behavior, please report it to a feast organizer or volunteer immediately.

V. Assumption of Risk, Release, and Waiver of Liability

By attending this Sukkot celebration, I understand and acknowledge the following:

Participation in any outdoor, community, or recreational event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional distress, property loss, food-related illness, or exposure to unlawful behavior by other attendees. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known or unknown, and agree that I am solely responsible for my personal well-being, safety, and conduct throughout the event.

I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless the feast organizers, volunteers, property owners, affiliates, and related parties from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to injury, loss, illness, misconduct, or damages incurred during the event, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. This release applies to myself, my family members, heirs, legal representatives, and assigns. I understand this release does not apply in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct by event organizers, as determined by law.

  • I agree to abide by the rules of conduct and expectations of safety and respect.
